Tips for stretching
On this post I will give to you a few tips that you can apply at home or at gym during your session of stretches so that they are completely effective.
When you stretch, make sure to stretch your entire body including your back, chest, legs, arms and shoulders. Stretching should feel good; it should never hurt.
When you do your routine of stretches, don't bounce, bouncy movements actually tighten the muscles.
In general, hold each stretch for 20 seconds in order to let the muscles fully relax. If the tension becomes more intense or feel painful, you are stretching too far so release a little the stretch.
During the stretch breath deeply and never hold your breath. The key to successful stretching is regularity and relaxation.
